Two shops and a yard of everything from cloths that are pink to the kictchen sink, antiquities and collectables,books to bikes, from treasures to junk and everything in between.  come down and look around you never know what you might find there next. The recycling complex has free public drop off area's for many types of recyclable materials.

The Nelson Recycling Centre and Transfer Station, less than ten minutes from the City Centre, promotes waste minimisation through the old green adage, THINK GLOBALLY, ACT LOCALLY!

                                          



Voted the best recycling operation in New Zealand, in thirteen years the Recycling Centre has experienced a variety of changes, growth spurts, and increasing support from the Nelson Public.

The Centre's REDUCE, REUSE, and RECYCLE campaign permeates the foundation that oversees the RE-USABLE SHOPS,YARD,MPC & RECYCLING OPERATION.

By purchasing reusable items, shoppers are not only getting a great deal, but they are supporting the recycling operation, Environment Centre's green endeavours, and the belief that rubbish has VALUE.
